@wurmbug & le1perrain thanks.

usually, noise creeps in if you are trying to do HDR on something dark and your bracketed shot doesn't have full information (or details) of that "something", that is why its better to have 2EV or 3EV to get the shadows and the highlights information. But, you really cannot avoid noise unless you always go for 6 or 9 bracketed shot. A good noise removal plug in might help, like noise ninja. HTH.

I wanted to share this one, although it is not full HDR, it uses same principle... this is called DRI (dynamic range increase), this is also from 3 images. If i remember, 10 secs, 20 secs and 30 secs exposure; this is done through manual digital blending (NOT tone mapping):

Thanks Mikael for the quick reply. I do blending a lot but I didn't know that it's called DRI Laughing
I do it with 2 photos. The 1st slightly overexposed and the 2nd underexposed. Than I try to preserve the highlights from one and the shadows from the other. This is by playing with the blending modes and options in Photoshop.
I find that it gives more realistic results than HDR. And it can sometimes be done with 1 RAW file.

Try photomatix. It's cheaper then photoshop Razz if you don't already have it. You can get realistic results with it too, it's up to you.

There aren't a lot of details in the buildings. It can be very hard to get good hdr's at sundown so why bother ? Razz
